The reigning Queen of Miss Igala Carnival, Priscilla Utenwojo Unubi and the Carnival Princess 1, Queen Mariam Ojima Umar organized quiz for some Primary and Secondary Schools in Dekina Local Government Area which gave the pupils and students very good chance to test their knowledge and also encourage them to express themselves academically. For the secondary Schools quiz, Agbeji Grammar School emerged winner while Commercial Science School, Anyigba came second. And, for the primary schools’ quiz, Iji Primary School LGEA took home the prize while Ajetachi LGEA Primary School and CMML 1, Anyigba came second and third respectively.
The Queens also went on to distribute educational materials to four carefully selected public primary schools as part of their supports through the Igala Carnival platform to the pupils in order to encourage them to focus on their studies.

At the carnival, some talented chaps were given opportunity to display their own creations; one displayed Helicopter he made with the use of his technology. The helicopter took off and landed safely and the other chap, displayed his own home-built Automated Teller Machine (ATM) and in the presence of the crowd, the ATM dispensed cash which amazed the audience.
